Nomad is a simple and flexible workload orchestrator to deploy and manage containers and non-containerized applications across on-prem and clouds at scale. These workloads can come in the form of services jobs and batch jobs. Service jobs are long-lived applications or services that should never go down. Batch jobs are much less sensitive to short-term performance fluctuations and are short-lived, finishing in a few minutes to a few days, and often run on a regular interval. Nomad can give you a unified workflow to deploy all of these in a codified and repeatable way. -
